The main task of warehouse complexes is storage and distribution of perishable goods that require low-temperature processing and storage. To ensure that food products do not lose their organoleptic qualities, it is necessary to use industrial refrigeration equipment for warehouses. Modern refrigeration modules with a wide range of functionality allow you to store any products.
Depending on the product category, equipment with different temperature modes, such as gentle mode, deep cooling, instant
freeze mode, etc., is required.
For the selection of equipment it is important to take into account a number of factors: the productivity of the enterprise, the type of product, the volume of premises, turnover.
There are 3 groups of freezers and refrigerators, which are used in minimum temperatures for storage:
- shock freezing chambers for storage at low temperatures (cooling of ready meals and fresh products). During shock cooling, the intracellular fluid turns into ice, which increases the shelf life and kills microorganisms);
- chambers with low-temperature mode for storage of frozen products and freezing of semi-finished products, meat, fish products. The temperature regime is from -15°C to -25°C);
- medium-temperature chambers for storage and cooling of fruits, vegetables, berries, food, flowers and medicines. The temperature regime is from -10°C to +10°C).
